Return
Return describes the rapid feed path the tool takes away from the last point of a retraction or a working toolpath. The retraction, just as with an approach, is usually performed in two steps:
Rapid tool movement from the last point of retraction along the Z axis up to the ‘Safe plane’ (for 3D operations ) or along the tool axis up to the safe coordinate (for 5D operations).
Rapid tool movement to the tool change point.
