Standard mathematical functions

The following mathematical functions are implemented:

  • <SIN(x)> – sine of angle x (degrees).

  • <COS(x)> – cosine of angle x (degrees).

  • <TAN(x)> – tangent of angle x (degrees).

  • <ATN(x)> – arctangent of x, returns in degrees.

  • <ASIN(x)> – arcsine of x, returns in degrees.

  • <ACOS(x)> – arccosine of x, returns in degrees.

  • <SQR(x)> – square root of x.

  • <ABS(x)> – modulus of x.

  • <SGN(x)> – sign of x. Returns "-1", if x is less than zero; returns "+1", if x is more than zero; returns "0", if x is zero.

  • <ROUND(x, y)> – returns the rounded value x with y decimals.

  • <LOG(x, y)> – returns the logarithm of y to base x.

  • <LG(x)> – returns the common logarithm of x.

  • <LN(x)> – returns the natural logarithm of х.

Here the <x> and <y> are the arguments of a function. They can be a numeric literal constant, variable, function or any expression that results in numeric value.
